Not yet. We are actively working towards UKAS accreditation as an ISO/IEC 27001 certification body. Until that accreditation is granted, any 27001 certificates we issue are not UKAS accredited. We will always be transparent about our status in proposals and on certificates.
Yes. Our intention is that clients certified by Audit Span can transition smoothly once our UKAS accreditation is in place. We will provide more detail on the transition approach as the accreditation process progresses.
To protect impartiality, we keep consultancy clearly separated from certification activities. Where support is required that could compromise independence, we will signpost you to third-party providers instead.
Yes, many of our audits are conducted fully or largely remotely using secure collaboration tools. We will agree the right mix of on-site and remote work based on your context and the standard being assessed.
